October 29, 2016: Central Association Fall Meeting

This year’s Fall Meeting of the Central Association will feature a special treat: Rev Traci Blackmon, the UCC’s Acting Executive Minister for Justice & Witness Ministries, will be preaching for our worship service and speaking to us about the founding of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Rev. Traci Blackmon will speak about “Why I Protest: the founding of Black Lives Matter” and the importance of Justice and Social Witness Policy in our United Church of Christ.

After Lunch Traci will introduce us to our new UCC curriculum:
“White Privilege: Let’s Talk and Do Something”
