Posted on : Oct 31st, 2013 | By | Category: This Sunday's Service

At last, the day is here!

This Sunday we celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Church!

Please join me as we look to the future.

What will the world be like 100 years from now?

What will Los Angeles and West Hollywood be like?

What will West Hollywood UCC be like?

Whether you know it or not, we are already building the future of a new faith.

If you think the last 100 years of WeHo UCC have been sensational, just imagine what the next 100 years will be like!

Join me this Sunday for “the first day” of our next 100 years!

~ This Sunday’s Scripture ~

Matthew 5: 14-16

on being salt and the light of the world

You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored?  It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden under foot.

You are the light of the world.  A city set on a hill cannot be hid.  No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.  Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good works and give glory to your God who is in heaven.
