We are back in the Sanctuary at 11am on Sunday Mornings!!!! Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide the worship experience on zoom, but it is our hope to record on the church Facebook page. You can access the service live streamed from the sanctuary at https://www.facebook.com/WestHollywoodUCC. If you are not able to attend worship in person, we ask for your patience and understanding as we do our best to link to our FB page.

New equipment and installation for live stream worship service

Fog and cloud cover seems to blanket SoCal doing the Fall months. Sometimes visibility is down to one-fourth of a mile! Yikes! But we can clearly see the path to an improved live stream worship experience on FB live!!! Thanks be to God! We are going digital.

The Council approved a proposal submitted by Nelson’s Communications that includes the purchase of new equipment including two new cameras, and a new sound board, the installation of all equipment and training of volunteers and staff. I appreciate the work of our Church Council as they took the necessary time to review proposals and ask questions before voting. I am thrilled to know that we are moving forward with our presence on social media.

Keep your fingers crossed, that the equipment does not get stuck on a cargo ship in the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.

Estimated time for the install is two weeks. Shortly there-after, training will begin for our volunteers and staff. Please let our Moderator, Anna, know if you are interested in participating in the training. Don’t forget about our tech savvy children. They can be trained as our junior Media team……

Onward!!

Sharing, Caring, Praying and Fellowship

You are invited to drop in via Zoom for a time of informal fellowship on Wednesdays beginning at 7:00 pm, or whenever you can join. We start with conversation and a time of sharing news, joys and concerns of the week. We close our time together with prayer for concerns of those present and for members and supporters of WeHo UCC. It’s a great opportunity to become better acquainted with the faces you’ve seen for months at Zoom worship. All are welcome.
