There is also opportunity to offer prayers for personal concerns in your life, our community and our world.
Our worship includes:
We celebrate two Sacraments: Communion and Baptism.
At West Hollywood Presbyterian Church, Communion really is the joyful celebration of the new life God offers us through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Everyone is graciously invited to receive the Sacrament of Communion. This Sacrament is for each and every one of us, including children of all ages. Through this Sacrament, God’s LOVE and God’s GRACE are freely offered to each and all of us. In the breaking of the Bread and the partaking of the Cup, together, we share in Christ’s feast of new LIFE.
We celebrate the Sacrament of Communion on the first Sunday of the month or on Special Sundays of the church year such as the first Sunday of Advent, the First Sunday of Lent, Easter Day, and the Day of Pentecost.
Baptism is the sacrament through which we are named and welcomed into the family of faith as a beloved child of God; no matter what our age.
Children and Youth
Children and youth are greatly valued and celebrated in our life and ministry. They are included in our worshipping community. At the time of the sermon, younger children (3 yrs old – 5th grade) are offered the opportunity to go over to the Parish Hall for a Church School lesson that is interactive and age-appropriate. Towards the end of the service our kids rejoin us for the Prayers, the Blessings, and the Sending Forth.
